Appearance doesn't mean much. From the outside the Turbo-a model looks just like any other black ma70 but it has many differences on the inside.

Hows this engine running now? still any heat issues?

The turbo-a turbocharger on a stock engine is good for around 330-350 rwhp on a aussie dyno, i've seen a few including mine that achieved that at 14-15 psi. If i get the chance i'll pull it down and measure it up if no one else has done it before.

The W58 is a fantastic transmission and if you are only after 300hp roughly then it will suit your goals well. I prefer the shifting on a W58 over the bigger R154 but the latter holds up better to a beating once your power goals increase. Get another intercooler if yours has leaks in the unit...
