    World's most beautiful garages

I agree. Only 2 of those have anything resembling an actual work area. Most of them are just personal showrooms for cars that the owners have never put a wrench to.

6x9 rear speakers in back seat side panels

I would love to see pics of his set up. What I had originally planned to do won't work since there isn't as much space as I thought, so I am going to have to reconsider the options.

6x9 rear speakers in back seat side panels

Well, given that 3 of my 4 stockers are dead, and the last on is on its way, I think there'll be a huge improvement. :D

6x9 rear speakers in back seat side panels

That will happen as well. This is just part of a complete stereo upgrade. New head unit, amp, single sub in the trunk with custom sub box, new wiring, speakers... pretty much the whole she-bang.

6x9 rear speakers in back seat side panels

I don't really intend to sell these since fabrication is not my thing. It's just an idea I had, so I figured it was worth a shot. However, if the install goes well, I'll do my best to put together a complete write up. It shouldn't be that hard. Pood - I've heard that round speakers are...

    my 7mgtte MKIII project

If you shop carefully you can pick an engine up without spending a fortune. I got my engine for $650 plus shipping, and it's been recently rebuilt with turbo (very little shaft play). The downside is that it took a while to find. I've been shopping actively for the last year, and had two...

    Quick Release Targa Mods?

Hmm. Well shit. Fuck it, I'm gonna do it anyway. I probably won't get started till next year, but I'm gonna give it a shot. Worst case scenario, I fuck up a spare targa.

    Quick Release Targa Mods?

Well, once I lay my hands on a spare targa, I'm gonna try pulling it apart and getting rid of anything that wouldn't be needed. Then, theoretically, when I'm down to the bare metal, I could have some additional pieces welded to the bottom of it to give it the required strength. However, I've...

    Quick Release Targa Mods?

Well the idea is to use the weld in brace to take the load off of the targa. At that point all the top would really be is a cover to keep rain and wind out, which the pins should be able to handle just fine.

Here's my 88 with my step father's 69 Mustang: The pic must have been taken about 2 and a half years ago.

    Quick Release Targa Mods?

Yeah, i thought about that, but I don't really want to trash my targa by throwing it onto the highway at high speed.

    Quick Release Targa Mods?

Unfortunately I'm a bit short on cash at the moment, and I'm sure shipping would cost an arm and a leg. Otherwise I'd be all over the offer. Thanks though!

    Quick Release Targa Mods?

Unfortunately you can't. That one is out of Rajunz car and it's completely custom.

    Quick Release Targa Mods?

I've got plenty of experience pulling the top, I just think it's kinda of a pain in the ass. Is it hard? No. But I'm sure it could be easier. One of the things I'd considered, which I haven't really researched yet, is installing a weld-in X brace, then using locking hood pins to hold the...
