didn't get gaskets yesterday but i got some gasket material from weezl so i made a few, only need to make EGR gaskets now and i should be able to reassemble.

uhhh, i think the two lil fans on the radiator are for the AC, theres also one on the front.. like where the Inter Cooler is.

seconded. Even though, usually id say go for it but its a bit too small. If it had some better fittings id go for it. Liquid cooling systems usually don't have the BEST fittings...

Yeah, so i went to Pete's to help him drop in the engine but i found that once i got there, there wasn't much to do.. so here are the progress pics. I put em in order to the best of my ability. I have to say though that this looks better in person, pictures don't do the job any justice at all...

haha yeah. for some reason my heater core was bypassed as well. i figured out why though. seems as if the previous owner used the JDM coolant rail (the one that goes around the engine) so the coolant return line is on the wrong side of the block. ahhh what a mess!! hah but ya gotta have heat...

Im not gonna be taking out the block to get it machined/decked though. Would it still be ok? Is there any certain RA spec needed for this TMS MHG? Thats really the only reason i went with a OEM style HG.. Thanks for all the kind words. More updates tomorrow. If the TMS HG is good to use on...

Its definitely not TEMS as i left them hooked up. I considered all my options and just decided that i wanted to get in some seat time. Which is why i went with a composite. Also if it blows again im going to go all out with new pistons, rods, etc etc. :D
