Hey Alex, it was pretty quick until out on a test drive we found it had NO OIL in it! LOL
So we went to a gas station and dumped 4qts. Not sure if the big puddles underneath it are from an OIL leak somewhere or if its the PS pump, PS rack (cuz the boot is torn), or the PS resevior.
But all...
NOV. 8 @ 6:30pm BBQ Meet at Zankoku Performance
Just 2 days away. On Saturday the 8th we'll be hosting a meet & BBQ from 6:30 to late. We'll provide the meet and soda & water. If you want beer, gotta bring your own, this aint a bar. MKIIIs, MKIVs, even MKIIs welcome. But the majority will be...
Ryan, want your blue Supra at the meet? Plus you should give your garage neighbor my card incase he needs anything badass for his 2JZGTE at awesome prices. And BTW Toyota only uses 1 T when describing turbo engines even if twin. They're not Nissan
Well I can tell you the speedo has nothing to do with ABS. thats what your wheel sensors are for. The speedo output to the ECU has to do with fueling and detecting engine load. Based on vehicle speed, MAF reading, and other inputs it determines air density and engine load to assert a proper...
Yeah, but you didnt have to cut a hole in the back of your cluster panel for your gauges. I'd have to take and rewire a big chunk of circuit board back there.
No no, the sway bars arent $120, thats for the F&R control arm kits, shipping not included in that price.
Energy doesnt make the sway bar bushings, these are actually my own prototype bushings that they made for me when they were trying to determine marketability and decided to can the sway...
I'm looking to put an autometer boost gauge in our stock boost gauge location and your thread answered the exact question I had about the circuitry.
I dont think i'll do it that way anymore, I got another idea that should be good. But your cluster looks really good like that. Just seems like...
Well I figured thats what had to be done, I was hoping not, I dont want to go f-ing around with the circuit board. I think I know a different way I can do it though, thanks for the info, stay tuned for the finished product
/\/\ indeed, almost no point to get stock sway bushes if you're goin aftermarket sway later. But I DO have a set of Energy sway bar bushings Fr & Rr with brackets in stock, and keep the whole bushing set for $120 for front and rear together
How do you fit aftermarket gauges into the stock panel? I been tryin to do that w/ a boost gauge but its too deep, I'd have to trim the back of the panel, which has the circuit board so that'd be 'no bueno'.
So, how did you do it?
Its the sensor that illuminates the "light out" indicator. If these go bad internally they can actually cause the lights to come on at all and not illuminate the "light out" indicator. Its pretty common on older 80s Nissans
