What did you do to your supra today? Pics

If they decide to total your car or whatever let me know if you want to get rid of any parts. Id take the drive to do it lol. And in des moines, I get compliments all the time. apparently the older guys think these cars are hawt for what they are. Then again e85 and a loud fuel pump with a...

    SP6265 question...

idk what wastegate you are using, but if it is a tial 44mm type make sure you have the seat in there between the mani and gate. that could cause issues.

    SP6265 question...

Something leaking before the turbo, or something is wrong with the tune or somewhere else. It is not the turbo. You should look elsewhere. :)

hardtop non-abs vs targa abs cant decide

for a cruiser/fun car I will always have a targa. for a race car or more track orientated I would go hard top.

3500 RPM Lean Spike is hard to tune around : MAFTPRO/7MGTE 1990

do you have any gauges or extra things grounded at the ecu harness? I had my gauges grounded into the ecu wire harness, and it was basically untunable because of the noise in the harness. I wired it into a relay that was triggered by the ecu and grounded it on the chassis, and it eliminated all...

7000rpm stock block, head, cams, retainers, etc. Going to spin it much harder on my new engine with bc's and shimless buckets. Billet mains obviously ;)

    Wastegates for 500hp

480whp with a pt6766 and tial mvr44. No boost creep. going to push it harder this year. If you have issues with controlling boost you usually have bigger problems than wastegate size. (wastegate angle, boost controller, etc)

    7mge with 7mgte rebuild kit???

You would want to do the ge rebuild kit. If you do the gte and it comes with pistons itll be lower compression which will cause the car to have less power. Now if you plan to turbo charge the car the lower compression isn't a bad idea, but you will have low power until you turbo the car.

Shimming the bypass spring on the oil pump

I have been thinking about going to less than 5mm on my shims also. I have heard the oil pressure can get into the 120+psi with a full flow cooler and cold start on heavier weight oil (which is what I am running.) I know people are saying 5mm is where you want to be at, but I am thinking I...

Shimming the bypass spring on the oil pump

Little pricey but worth it. I think oil cooler mods are much better than the oil pump shimming. My built motor will have both, but just for comparison I just finished up my full flow oil cooler with thermostatic control and remote oil filter. I am getting 20psi at idle before it was around 7-10...

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Did you check plug gap? if so what is it set to? doesn't make much sense to me if it ran fine before. Maybe you need to swap CPS's back out, or retime the cps. Did you get the cps in right? and did you use a timing light to adjust it after it was in?

Modifying CPS to use AEM Engine Position Module

I wonder how it works. to me it kindof just seems like a modified cps with the tooth taken out. I would imagine you could use it, but you can pick up cps' pretty cheap now a days and they are plug and play. I don't really see a use for it, unless someone would like to do some research and make...

    emericaskater285's MKIII build of DOOM!

Well, I have been making a little progress lately. I got my whole drive train in the car. It consists of a lightweight steel flywheel, act xtreme pp and 6 puck sprung disc, built r154, one piece steel driveshaft, and I ended up buying a new ssv3 shifter and put that in too. Really happy with how...

    Infinity Ref Speakers?

What sub are you thinking of going with? This is the amp that is in my car. It pushes my jl 8w3v3 great. It is 300watt rms at 4 ohms, and I believe that is what i am running it at if I remember right. Peak power would be around 600 watts. and its 40 watt rms on each speaker channel at 4 ohms...

    Infinity Ref Speakers?

I actually have that amp under my drivers seat in my truck and love it. Its a great amp. You can run it like that, but I think you may not like having no rear speakers. Then again, you may want to try it and see how you like it. I just know I would hate not having any sound behind me besides a...

    AEM True Boost Help

I think you will always have problems with the larger turbo with the aem true boost. They don't do progressive boost, they only set to one pressure and once its close to being achieved it will start to open the wastegate. I had issues with this like no other on my MBC, then i bought a decent ebc...

    Infinity Ref Speakers?

I ran a 4 channel kenwood excelon before i went 5 channel. Just really any decent quality amp is good. JL (my favorite) Alpine, kenwood, mtx, infinity, rockford, some kicker(higher end products, low end kickers suck), and many others. Stay away from jensen and xplode, and walmart brands. I...
