If you blast it, take care what type of material you are using. Some will get embedded into the manifold and come out later, which will get into your oil system. The material I used was good sized and I still gave it a thorough air blasting afterwards.
I did this with a bead blaster. It took a while to get to the bare manifold, but it looked really nice. You can use high temp paint afterwards if you want.
Why they didn't put the plastic covers as they did in the front, I don't know. But Goddammit I get so sad every time I take a peek at mine. I could double fist it now. /tear
Fuck cheap lamps. I always got the cheapest at the parts store up until a few weeks ago when one of my low beams went out. Picked up the Sylvannia Silverstar, the more expensive ones, and they're a ton brighter and better. But buy used dull ones OP, I just enjoy seeing in the dark.
I haven't tried adjusting height or damper or anything yet. I got them used, dropped them in and I'm driving. Not too stiff but handles so much better.
