Are you sure about that? Gas used to melt a styrofoam cup almost instantly if I remember correctly.. If you pour it in the cup, it eats a hole and goes right out the bottom of the cup? I know carb cleaner does for sure, or at least it used to.. Crazy thread... ;)

I sent mine to Performance Techniques in California.. I had good luck with them. There used to be turbo shop in Tacoma, but they don't seem to answer emails, so I can't recomend them..lol

A higher boost level means greater air to fuel ratios.. That can cause it to lean out and cause detonation at some point. Mine runs lean over 14 psi but fuel cut should protect you to a point..

If it is 2.5" crush bent pipe, then it is actually about 2.25" after it's bent.. I had to swap to mandrel bends to get past 10psi on my car. I agree if it is a big enough boost leak and fuel cut is tripped, it should set a code 34, no?

It's always good to check your codes even if the check engine light is not on.. Some codes will not trip the check engine light.. Check your timing while your jumpered also.. Why did you go with a 2.5" muffler when everything else is 3"?? That could be the reason for the boost level...

I would pull your EFI fuse and clear your codes. See if it shows up again.. It almost sounds to me like you may have a boost/vacuum leak somewhere? I would look at all your couplers, hoses and pipes for cracks and or leaks.. Here is a homebuilt "how to" leak tester link...
