The thing that amazes me, is that people have been having kids long before doctors and hospitals, on their own and usually without much difficulty since the dawn of humans. $9,000.00 for a normal delivery is insane in itself.

I don't think Iraq will ever be stable with the US there. The 3 groups will never get along. Saddam was able to keep them some what stable by employing most people in the military service. This gave them paychecks. Sure he did it with an iron fist, but that is what they seem to understand...
