Its a custom LED retrofit behind the cluster. They used a module to change the colors when its triggered, and in this case when vvti triggers. Just a digital circuit and LEDs.

I dont know what the 1st 2nd or 3rd is, but the one youre probably missing is one on the topside near the cat. There is an o2 sensor that you can not see by crawling under the truck. You have to pretty much feel for it to get to it. I had to replace all my o2 sensors on my previous Dodge Ram...
