mines was leaking oil and coolant. i replaced the valves gaskets and the coolant was leaking from one of the coolant lines on the throttle body. just replace the valve gaskets and while your at it (if you havent) replace the spark plugs,plug wires. hope this helps
i see what your saying.and its true what your saying,if the surface is that eroded then what i cant see is probally worse. im going to try and see if tubbie has any used decent heads available. thanks for the input,appreciate it

i already dissembled the valve spring assembly,etc. but i still just cant get the valve stem seals off. im going to take the head to get it cleaned,milled and see if they can take out those stem seals.im also going to look in to...
this shit is annoying. i just got the compressor tool from discount auto and i was able to take off two of the valve spring assemblies. i just cant take out the valve stem seals. i've been trying to use needle nose pliers but i just cant get it to come out. any tips?
