i see SR20s get around ~250lb/tq with very BPUs, and with all that money you saved not having to modify the chassis to fit in a 7MGTE, you could upgrade the turbo/fuel/etc and push 300 pretty easily
i had a similar problem, i'm not sure if it's the hose b/c it looks like the coolant is coming from where it's connected... should we just replace the clamp or what??
i had was using some unknown wires, my car idled fine. then i changed them to bosch's and some new NGK plugs and the car misfired at idle, i just redid the timing and that did the trick.
in my N/A (with matching cams), the car pulls hard from 3-5000rpm, then starts to pull even harder once i pass about 5000rpm. so maybe this only affects the turbo'd motors?
sounds like your timing is off by the popping in the exhaust

i'm thinking that your connector to the TPS might be dirty, this is pretty common. just disconnect it, clean both ends, and see if that helps
