my car has recently been leaking either oil or power steering fluid, i cant tell which, looks the same.... the fan is blowing it around all over the engine, mainly on the front of the motor and down. its really not leaking a whole lot but when i go to turn or come to a stop and then go sometimes...

is there a year of MR2 or celica that had a steering wheel hub that would fit the 87 supra steering wheel? im looking to get an aftermarket steering wheel and hub, just wondering if the MR2 or celica or corrola one would fit. thanks!

you have another BHG, or warped head...... if you did a metal head gasket and they didnt resurface the block at all, it would have a good chance of leaking,, also if it wasnt torqued down enough it could leak or blow, could be both.

did they flush the oil and coolant system good? could just be left over from the first BHG.. block might need some resurfacing done too... sure sounds like it would be leaking agian though..take it back to the shop they didn't do a good job. :p

ok, there still some confusion going around.. prolly my fault... clearing this up.. the head is warped .001mm over the .10mm so it needs to have .101-.102mm taken off.. i have ARP head studs that they are puting on the car, and iam having them torqued down to 82ft. lbs. BTW the head that...

lol.. no its off by .011mm.. when i called the machine shop i asked,, so your going to have to take off .12? and he said No no no.. only taking off .012mm

i'v done meausrements with the machine shop and with the thickness of the head gasket i have he said it will work fine. by the way i was wrong on the warpage amount.. it was warped .011 not .11 so its barely warped agian like i said there was miss communication between the 3 parties working...

just so you know the felpro gasket i have is NOT stock thickness.. its 1.65MM stock is less than that.

does anyone know how thick a stock head gasket is in MMs?

nah it'll be fine turns out there was just some miss communication between the shop and the machine shop and me... the head gaset i gave them will work just fine.. they thought i gave them a stock HG..haha.. and the machine shop of course didn't know

what will my new problem thread say?

just talked to the shop agian.. they said other that the bottom of the head being warped the rest of the head is fine and in great shape to be used.. just need a thicker gasket to make up the difference
