jake for this to happen you would basically have to start getting parts now...i dont know exactly what you are looking to do though... are you just wanting to pull it out and replace that ring or are trying to do a full rebuild or something?
the problem would be finding the correct parts....youd need a lot of misc shit and i dont know how much of it we would be able to run down in time....mainly the fact that the rings are probably a specific size for your pistons...which arent stock toyota....so i dont know how we could find...
i STRONGLY think its WHO builds the turbo...AND how it is installed...id be willing to put MONEY on most of the early failing turbos that were installed...were never primed before startup...and if they arent thats HARSH on them....
lol....you should get nitrous....and im serious... if you run nitrous it will seal that piston right up ......
as for running as is.... its just gonna run like shit.....unless something else majorly fails i dont see a rod through the side of the block if thats what youre asking....
are you...
hahaha like i dont have enough to deal with...
i have to finish singling kellys car....finish reassembling bills car and build his engine and put his interior back together etc, i have to drop jeremies engine and get him going.....
oh yeah and then theres my poor neglected poor excuse of a...
i had mine for two years about 20k miles before it blew...... i ranged from 10-18psi on it ........ if its a good rebuild it should last around 15k miles......
hahaha....yeah i hate phones if you havent noticed....and ihave called you back...like twice now...but you just havent answered ;)
ill catch you eventually or youll catch me or something lol..... ill be home at brandon prob all day tomorrow if you want to stop by sometime....or if you want to...
my point was with those things it shouldnt have been as much as you paid.... not that with those things its any less of a supra...those are things that should discount the price.
also have fun blowing up the w58 with a t4 turbo engine lol
eh imo you got ripped....
strike 1: NA
strike 2: auto
strike 3: 86-88 style
strike 4: seized engine
strike 5: shitty paintjob and the engine bay is still original color
usually its 3 strikes and the car is out for me..... if it was RUNNING then 850 wouldnt be bad.... bad 850 for a seized...
lotek is exactly that LOW-TECH...they suck... you have a 90% chance of them not fitting correctly and looking like shit....
i would ask TTE in the vensor section....roy is awesome.
yeah i got it figured out...i just put a dp on my car that had a threaded bung on it rather then the stock two bolt.... i knew there was the mustangs ones i just wanst sure if there were different thread sizes or pitches that i had to make sure i got for the bung i had....
the mustang one went...
dude...you shouldnt need much tools wise...
pull off the elbow and dp... get them out of the way... then reach under and with a deepsocket 12mm on an extension and a socket wrench and just use your right hand to hold the ratchet and your left around the side to feel for the nuts on the...
yeah i had completely forgot about the eas and availability of the mustang o2 sensors...just called my local advance down the street and they have one left so i told them to hold it for me... 40 bucks...new o2 ...works for me...
Im in dire need of a threaded O2 Sensor at the moment....id like to be able to drive down to advance auto parts and pick it up tonight.... what is compatible?
its factory...but theres no touch paint or anything for my color from anywhere...id have to get it mixed and put into a aerosol can or something but being pearl i just dont see it coming out NICE like that ... i dunno...
