just to clear things up....obviously eagles are better then stock rods...however i would NEVER trust my engine past around 600hp on them.... same as i wouldnt with stock rods... if im building an engine to spin fast and hold 600hp+ im going with the BEST.
stock<eagle<crower/pauter
that simple
the arp bolts are exactly the problem with the eagles.... mk4 guys who use them consider them a downgrade to th stock 2j rods.... the bolts are weak (you CAN upgrade them but this raises the price considerably).
there is a reason the eagle rods are 400 bucks.... like i said before... good for...
eagle rods suck.... more so the bolts they use in them suck....i wouldnt trust them for anything over 600hp.... and for that mark i would just use stock shotpeened rods.....
crower is about the only option for rods if you are looking to throw anything you want at it and expect it to work well.
napa did nothing wrong here and he wont get very far....not to mention they have MUCH HIGHER PAID AND BETTER attorneys then joe schmoe im sure....
you MIGHT be able to get a settlement from napa out of court... but i still think going after the guy who did it is the better idea.
OR BOTH ;)
damn man that sucks.... unfortunately it looks to me like that car will be considered totaled by any insurance company. and the fact you had the targa off means theres probably more damage that isnt visible.
i would definitely be thinking lawsuit...but moreso against the person who hit you then...
lmao you are ALL wrong... :D
ill bet money he doesnt have the metal clip that goes on the gas door...which cause it to flip open when you pop it.
