back to the original post questions.... i am using titan main caps in a few of the built engines im putting together. they are VERY nice pieces. IMO for the extra 500 bucks (when you are putting 5-10k into the engine like most normal built engines) is far and away worth the extra piece of mind...

sorry they cant estimate noise. noise is a subjective thing unless ACTUALLY measured...speed can be judged in MANY ways .... whats "loud" to one person isnt to another. i havent been lucky at all. i read the law understood it and i have had three different judges throw out 3 different tickets...

lol...sorry but that MIGHT work for them to write the actual ticket...BUT that wont hold water in court. which is why you fight this crap. if they dont do an actual DB test on THE MUFFLER/EXHAUST ON YOUR CAR AT THE TIME THEY WRITE THE TICKET.....that ticket WILL get dimissed with no problems...

not necessarily...not to mention a stock exhaust from almost 20 years ago could be easily rusted through and sound like an open dp.... this "law" has so many loopholes its not even funny. besides...if they didnt take a db test of the aftermarket one then how do they know its NOT the same?

actually you are wrong. i beat this exact ticket by simply proving there was no DB test done to my car when the ticket was written. the law is simply no modification can be done to your exhaust that changes the noise level. how do they a) know what the stock DB level of a 90 toyota supra...
