This is what I found upon pulling the #1 piston.
I was meticulous in orienting the end-gaps properly & double-checking each piston as I loaded it into the ring compressor for installation.
I've never seen this happen before...I know the rings can migrate some initially. But how does this occur...
I bought a 57 trim ct26 from a member who was running it at the time. When he pulled it off, there were chips out of the impeller, so he sent along a new one.
From the forums, I gather that you can balance it for me? What would it cost, how to ship, what parts are needed from the turbo...
LOL @ Poodles!
HVYMAN - thanks for the reminder...comp was 150 in 3 cylinders & 175 in the others; so not isolated low in #1.

I noticed a low speed miss leaving the office, & checked the plugs when I got home:

#1 was oil-fouled severely & the rest were clean. The #3 head cover was replaced w/ drain plug gaskets & the gallery is dry - no oil on exposed part of plug nor the threads...

Wonder how long it will take to get them??

Test drive up the same grade & 9.5 again!
Pressure testing the intake end-to-end, I could hear a leak but couldn't find it; even w/ a smoking candle...
When u use a MHG w/o a mirror-finish (no, u can't do this at home), they always leak - slowly at 1st. It's been leaking for 3999 mi...that's why the 'waterfall' sound from the heater, and the slow loss of coolant w/o any visible leak.
