I had one on my truck (it was metal) and I filled the cavity with JB weld then drilled and tapped it as the setscrews never held good enough. I can't think of a single car that comes with a shift knob with setscrews from the factory...

IIRC 10's in front will rub BADLY.

Or, get a real shift knob as set screws suck.

More than likely he's spinning if his 60' is that low, 2-step would make it worse.

Yeah, after driving my mom's miata with a torsen I LOVE it. It's a bit weird when it breaks away, but you don't get that understeer fight in corners, it actually HELPS you corner.

Depends what you're used to. Personally I like torsens for corners and that's most of what autocross is. I'd love to run a torsen in my MKIII but the IJ torsen is a bit weak :(

There IS a plug for the coolant passage behind the EGR cooler plate, but I REALLY doubt it's leaking.

4.30's are going to induce more wheelspin if you're not able to put the power down.

Like I said... buring through between cylinders isn't a "normal" way for a HG to blow.

The early mounts won't flex enough for that (I tried as well LOL)

Unless your head is bad, it's pointless. That appears to be nothing more than a stock head.

Weird, remember having this discussion a while back and I thought that was determined to be the reason.

The valves on that ebay one are stock (notice the "7M" on them)

Pulley size was change at the same time on all, the PPS has the smallest that I've seen.

Have to be careful of the windows though.
