no, an automatic does not have a clutch. It would have a tourqe converter. Both JZA70's (jdm) and MA70 (usdm, TURBO) us an R154 transmission, so yes it will bolt right on, so long as you take the 7M bellhousing off first :p

how bad are we talking here? On my old 86.5 i found a rust spot, where there was a hole about 1 foot X 6 inches(roughly). I took it to a custom truck shop (of all places) and they cut out all the rust, and welded a new peice in, forming it into place with a hammer as he welded. Ive got pictures...

when my drivers side motor went, the window seemed to be off the track, but it wasnt. i pulled the door panel off and unbolted the window from he motors arm. I was fortunte enough to have a friend on hand to hold the window up while i pulled the motor out, and put the new one in place. But...

the tranny is slipping? are you sure its not just your clutch?? If you end up with the car, youll need a 1JZ bellhousing, its a genuine toyota part, should cost around $359 new if i remember correctly.

im guessing youve got a JZA70, and your tranny is on its way out? THe bell housing is different, but you can get one on here. Other than that the tranny will work, same clutch and everything
