omfg, guys i think this guy has a BAD TURBOZ. the whine of death..
take themuffler off and boost, if there isno whiste then its probably the muff. if you took themuffleroff and it still whines. you hare going to have to get a new turblow.

i have seen a 7m-gte in a 1986 corolla, im guess you have tocustom fab the dp, driveshaft, transmission mounts and other things. i have no clue, but i have seen it before.

i am actually using these atm, well installing them. everything works fine except forthe boost guage sensor, and the oil filter adapter. the adapter leaks like hell, so you have to put some threadlock compound to the holdsthat your not using, and the boost sensor is made with very very very low...
i guess ill just have to pull the whole unit out and see if it has any shaft play. i hope so, or else it goign to be another big problem.

what are the chances of shaft play on the ct12a? *the 1st generation ct12a* the motor has about 30-40k on the it and the turbos the same. i guess you could say i was boosting pretty hard with them, but does blown turbo seals effect the other parts of the turbo, such as the turbine and such...
doesnt the intercooler block all that from going to the engine? i just need a confirm of what shaft play sounds like. i mean it sounds like knocking.the JZ never has rod knock! its because its the engine made by god himself!! anyways if anyone could confirm this
