You might want to run non-syn oil in there a little longer. Definatley change the oil thats in there now, but do one or two more with regular oil. Helps condition the seal better, or so I've heard. Maybe someone else will chime in. Good to hear you're back in the saddle tho!

I read in a C&D that Nissan will market a version of the Skyline GTR here in the USA. It will be badged Infiniti G35-GTR, twin turbo version of the current motor, pushing about 450hp, and awd. Supposed to come out in about '07-'08. I personally think that a turbocharged engine could be possible...

I had my wheels powdercoated, $60 a wheel isn't bad for sandblasting/stripping and powdercoat. They look awesome. I say get powdercoat, its well worth the money.
