^^They give you tickets because your car is illegal.... They have every right to sit outside... Sure, it's revenue raising, but if your car doesn't have illegal mods, you have nothing to worry about :)
As i said in this thread earlier, if your car isn't legal to be on the road, trailer it to...
^^If that's the case, then you should technically only ever race against yourself ;)
The second there is another car involved, you are endangering another life...
Yes, the 2 males made examples of were racing in the rain, however the article also mentions the fact that some people are caught doing 180-200kmph on the Hume Highway... 99% of you don't know, but that is a 4 lane divided highway... An area that most of you would no doubt consider "safe"...
I am the same distance from track aswell.... And $20 is nothing for a race... That is cheap as chips!!!!!! (We pay anything from $50AUD to race)
I'm not being rude, but you are really just making excuses for your street racing...
No one here is trying to push their views on anyone else mate... Just a healthy discussion on street racing is all that's happening :)
It's good to have these kinds of threads every now and again to remind some of us that we are not immortal, and bad things can happen...
And I'm well aware...
^^And that I can understand completely.
:)
Unfortunately with the rules here in Aus, it is not worth me even entertaining the idea of street racing.... Plus, I'm a pussy... I don't like taking risks like that... (But i'll happily jump out of plane ;))
