Never had much experience with the VG30DE or the DET, but my mom has a 1990 Pathfinder with the VG30E, and it absolutely will not die, lol. Its the 160 hp version of the motor, and as of today has 261,000 miles on it.

^ He's exactly right...... We will get snow, and then the next 2-3 days it will be 40-60 degrees, then it all melts, and then the next week it does exactly the same thing. I hate how inconsistent the weather is here, lol. Oh well.

I've got an S&K click style torque wrench, and its pretty good. Have had it for 4 years now, and I believe its still accurate.
