OK, so 1,500 miles ago i put a brand new SPEC clutch in my car, Now when i start the car up i cannot put it into gear. When i turn the car off and put it into gear (1st) there's noise that comes from the transmission or inside the bell housing, What do u think could be wrong?
When i had my head rebuilt i think he used the same old valves and valve springs, could worn valve springs cause less power? also if my cams have over 100k on them could the lobes be worn causing less duration and lift? Also, at 6-6500rpm there's quite a bit of engine vibration... is this...
hi, i was just wondering how it would be possible to gain some high rpm power? it seems like after 6k it's done. I've a rebuilt engine and head, racing header, stock exhaust system, and a cold air intake, i also removed the egr system when i rebuilt the engine.
I'm about to be putting a Stock exhaust system on my car, but i don't want it to completely kill my power, So would putting a test pipe in cause it to be much louder? Has anyone tried this?
I just bought and installed a Brand new "Water Temp Sensor" for EFI. The cold idle is still the same, But my cold drivability is WAY WAY better, and the car is alot faster and more responsive. What would be the next thing to replace or check? ISCV?
Ok, here ya go, Looks like a have a bunch of wires ran already... Don't have a clue what all the wires are for, Other than the Gian "Monster" Power cable.
annoyingrob, Awesome that sounds like a really good idea, As well as a good lesson, I'm starting to get car audio more and more. As for the subwoofer, I'm all for it but i need something small enough that i could still put my Targa top in the back. I think i have a little cross over box dealio...
Well I wanna get the Best Possible bang for my buck, I have some sort of sound deadening material in my door, Forgot what it's called, I heard it's expensive... Are Alpine Type S speakers any good? i'm running 5 1/4s in the front, and OEM factory in the rear... What size are the rear speakers...
I've got 5 1/4 Alpine Type S speakers in the front in my supra and they don't sound that great, I'm thinking i need to create an enclosure to get the best out of them? I need to get new rears as well, I think they're 3.5" or 4" but the enclosure works VERY well to get the best out of them. I...
OK, i have no vaccum leaks, it seems like it's eating up coolant......? my low coolant light comes on after a few days of driving....? Also this is almost getting worst, Cold Drivability Sucks ass! pisses me off so much, I have to NAIL it and it seems like it bogs down like no other, It does...
ok so i've got this old Pioneer and i had to get a harness for it, and i wired it up, Soldered etc.. And the headunit works fine in the car, Just there's 1 wire that i couldn't wire up since there were 13 wires from the Honda Harness and 12 on the Pioneer headunit side... the free wire is...
I made my own gasket and it does the same thing, up and down. I made a good Gasket... I slapped my old isc with the same gasket and it idles fine, Just doesn't idle up, and That's what i need. So is this new ISC bad? I just bought it from Tubbie.
Ok, so i replaced my isc because everytime i started up my car cold or hot it went straight to 650rpm or whatever idle is at, It didn't idle up like it's supposed to. So i replaced the isc and the gasket broke, so i slapped it back together but the idles going up and down.... does that mean my...
Well tonight my belt started squealing after 45min of driving with a/c on full blaster and I was running it rather hard, Then I pull over and there's smoke pouring out from the AC compressor, Whatevers connected to the belt... Am i screwed now? By the way, I still haven't retrofitted it nor...
ok, so u had a Japanese spec w-58, same what i had to put on my car, The gear on the japanese w-58 is smaller, But the speedo cable still works with it, but throws the speedometer off pretty bad.
