Yes that part circled in red. The thick part is the tube and the smaller shaft right above that is the part the tube slides on.
You don't need to unbolt anything and you don't need to cut and weld anything.
It is likely that it has dirt or paint or both making it hard to pull. So lube and eat...
That could either go to the egr exhaust gas temp sensor. Which is only on Cali cars or a Cali harness. Or it is for the reverse lights but looks way to short.
What color wires does it have?
The round gray plug is prolly for injector resistor.
The 5 pin connector under fuse box does not go to anything.
The first pic at the very bottom in the attachments is the c1 connector.
Ya you want to make the arms he same length as stock and then adjust with the camber bolts. If adjustment is still not where you want it then use the arm for adjustment.
When looking at the inside of the tps and the tps flange on the throttle they should spin opposite each other. Also you wouldn't not be able to open throttle if one was turning the wrong way.
And no flipping it upside down would not change anything.
