ummm....... death whine doesn't sound like a belt problem..... my guess would be turbo (...) or PS pump, or something related to it. I would say PS if you haven't checked it.
Maybe a better description of the whine would help?
Rather than use the search........... Does the SAFC have a built in boost gauge, or something of the sort? I was thinking if it did...... then I wouldn't need to get a gauge for it.....
It came from a 91..... I'm just concerned that the cams should be all nice and shiny like the crank... that's really all I got..... lol. 5/6ms are so much easier....
Damn....... you'd think you did that to his car...... I agree with the "Holy sh*t, what was I thinking?" approach to learning...... well, unless it's something really exspensive..... then things change pretty quick.
I'd go r-12 if you're gonna do it.... it's quite a bit colder.
mkIII's didn't come standard with these...... my 82 did..... :icon_conf
About the truck.... a little tall for my liking, my cycle ramp would be straight up and down......... on second thought..... If I could clear the cab......... I could get some sweet air..... get it and let me try...
Dayum that looks good......... Never had a motor down far enough to paint it like that...... Nice work!
Are you making your friends work for free? I always do..... :biglaugh:
pre-89 is the way to go front bumper-wise.........
the rear..... thats a completely different story.....
I would just get everything that U think you MIGHT need, if you don't use it, you can always take it back..... I've never had a front bumper off a mkIII, but I know the mkII's are easy...
well there was that ONE guy that managed to drive into the water that he couldn't see....... :nono: Old people rock......
Anyway, thats a crappy-crappy situation..... and yet another exscuse to raise gas prices...... $3, here we come!
I'm a feeler, but I mean..... you kinda have to...
OK, so I tore into my 7mgte and noticed the cams were..... worn pretty badly........ and there are grooves in the head itself also..... is this normal since there are no bearings, or do I need to start looking for a head and some cams?
Dad told me not to go 7m..... :3d_frown:
