Wow, thanks for sharing. It amazing it has almost been 6 months and it still looks like nothing. I guess things like that take years and years to repair. And we do have tons of those surf shops around here.

joe what did you use to eliminate the fuel cut? With an afc and my car leaned out I was able to run 17psi or so on the 1j map. So lean the car out a bit and you can squeeze more than 14.7psi out of it. :) My first experience with speed cut happened while I was on a bridge racing...

Depending on the conditions a year is a bit long. I think its normally 5-6 months and after that its time for some new gas.

old gas will not happen in 2 months. And ya if you haven't changed your spark plugs lately it may be a good idea. Do you have anything to lean it up slightly?

lol.....that took me a second. Is your car single YET? :icon_razz Have you done a compression check? What is the mileage on the motor?

stock 1j cams drop the power around 6200rpms. Stock 2j cams will not drop off the power till redline. 2j cams need a few thoustandths take off of where the cam sits in the front journal. Most machine shops should be able to do this.

Looking good. I had to actually cut part of my compressor housing off to have it fit correctly. Hopefully you'll have enough room in there for yours.
