    Yes, I know it stops there. But just because the header panel flattens out doesn't mean the line is gone. The bumper picks it nicely and keeps going. Look at a hardtop MKIV. There are lines on the roof that flow down to the lines of the hood. You won't see it on a targa car.

    On that note as well, I've never been in a race with a 7M where the 7M car's "superior" torque allowed them any kind of jump or lead early on in the race. Especially when racing off a roll... my experiences show all that low end torque doesn't mean jack shit. If I nail the gas in the correct...

    I don't doubt you won. Had the 1J car had a couple more bolt ons, I think you would be seeing taillights though... Car could have been down on power like you say your car is with low compression. But a race is a race. And if you won, then cool. :) No excuses. No amount of bench racing can...

    If you're just interested in the bumper and taillights, then no problem with a pre-89. But if you wanted all the things they changed in 89 or 91, you'd be better of just buying one. IMO.

    pre-89 also totally ignores the lines of the hood and nose panel and I hate that... :) It's all preference... I wasn't satisfied with either, so I used black turn signal covers on a black car to make the front end look solid with no gap between the bumper and hood. :)

    You should never run an injector up to 100% duty. 370s would not be good for 370hp. 440s would be good for 370s. I think the acceptable level is 80%. Any more than that and you can be playing with fire. Not only does running injectors on the edge leave chance for failure of the injectors...
