Yeah his car held his own in the twisties untill the tranny issue. There was one accident where the car got too close to the rock wall but no fatalities or anything like that; the car was no longer driveable though. A corvette also had an issue in the dips of the road; it was sitting so low that...

Believe me, the 250 miles went by fast!! I wasn't trying to compete with anybody but as soon as the twisties hit it was an automatic competition in pretty much everyones mind and we were all booking it. Through the straight aways i topped the speedo at 150 without even realizing it. I have never...

No not yet, I didn't get a chance to install the IPM before the cruise and during the cruise my RPMs were over 2k so I didn't run into any issues. I'm gonna try to mess with it this week and hopefully get somewhere

    What happens at 2000rpms?

No I havent done the 12V mod yet, but I havent seen any type of pressure drop on the guage whatsoever so didn't really think this was relevant. It is set at 35psi at idle with the vacuum line unplugged from the FPR but with a plugged hose end. After reconnecting it is reads about 28-30psi. I...

The Twisted Sisters were sick!!! It wasnt as big of a turnout as December since alot of people got scared of the mist in the morning but it turned out to be pretty awesome; although there were a couple of casualties. I did push the car quite a bit and she held together more than well. Don't mean...

    What happens at 2000rpms?

I'm having a problem going lean right at the 2k mark. Before the 2k mark and after the afr are normal but everytime I hit the 2k mark it leans way out to 18+. It started doing this after installing an aeromotive FPR kit from Driftmotion. The J tube was removed and blocked off with the block off...

Yeah Cars and Coffee is this Saturday as well. My car started acting up again, I think my fuel pump is going out. I'm gonna look more into it tomorrow, when I get out of work. If it is the pump failing I might not take my car on the cruise and hitch a ride with the Vette or my friends Jetta...

Any further breakthroughs? I've been adjusting my tune and have been able to get it running pretty good aside from a nasty hole right at 2000rpm. Below 2K perfect, after 2K perfect, but right on 2K it leans out. I'm thinking its the switch over from 9v to 12v on the fuel pump relay but i dont...

Priming a new turbo basically means that you get oil flowing through the turbo's bearings before the actual start up so that the bearings don't run dry. What most people do is simply remove the EFI fuse (so the car doesnt start) and crank the car while the banjo bolt for the return drain plug is...

Don't sweat it Rufus its not going anywhere, just let me know when you get some time. My car is a bit low as well so ill probably be taking 2x4s as well. Nobody in San Antonio seems to want to touch the car, I was thinking of maybe calling Timmy's new Speed shop to see if they do alignments...

I all comes down to preference. I prefer a street tune as that where my car is 99% of the time; but if you want to show the big numbers and sqeeze as much HP out as possible, you cant beat a dyno tune.
