Just saw the movie last night. you could find it online using BT client to dwnld.
Overall the whole movie was garbage, terrible acting and very crappy sex scenes. The mark III is driven by the bad guy in the movie and YES they called a CELICA ALL-TRAC a Supra. !!!!!!
Worth a good laugh...
I have read through the whole thread, what a read.... And all i can say is that this story is very depressing.
The good thing I have noticed in all of is that it shows you how great all your supra friends can be. Supramania is an awesome site. Some of the information and ideas shared on here...
nice nice NICE i am very glad to hear that you all have no more surge. I killed ones turbo with a surging HKS and don't want to fry this new one. I since replaced the HKS to a Bosch 110 recirc but I want a better , and louder sound.
Anyone have time to make a video or an audio clip...
Maybe you forgot to plug something in. Have you checked that? Or maybe it's something more complicated like the resistance difference between the standard bulbs and the LED's are causing it.
Same deal is happening to me but my outside ambient temperature is close to 20-40 degrees F. I have checked my CSI and Cold Start timing switch (the sensor sticking straight up in the t-stat housing). I have also repaired my Cam Position Sensor wire harness. Next thing I will be testing is Fuel...
Is this coolant leak the real reason for removing the enginge??? If so, I find it very stupid to remove the whole engine unless you have checked for the problem. In other words, why the hell are you trying fix a problem that you are not sure you have???!!!!
all accessory belts are pretty straight forward and easy to replace but do yourself a favor and spray the belt tensioner/idler pulley bolts with some PB blaster or liquid wrench. I have broken the bolt for the tensioner in the past.... thank god for a parts car.
Timing belt is as Frank Rizzo...
same thing was happening to me. I replaced the turbo and and all was well. But i'm not saying your problem is the turbo.... I checked shaft play first and it was horrendous. +2 check shaft play
That video is before I replaced my flasher unit. Since LED's Run at much lower wattage demand the blink like a bulb is burned out until you replace the flasher module.
I would say it's from some pulley. Try taking off the accessory belts and checking each pulley for wiggle/play. Don't just buy a new pump without making sure that is the problem.
Ignition Timing? Loose Cam sensor etc...? any engine error codes? Air leak after AFM wouldn't explain fuel smell though unless it is running ultra rich from detecting an air leak.
I've actually ran 15 psi then 18 psi on a dyno to see the performance change. I actually saw a decrease In horsepower from adding 3 psi. Current setup Intake, 3" turbo back exhaust, MBC, Bypassed AFM on dyno only. Autometer Boost Gauge. The biggest difference from stock is N/A cams. This may...
