    North East Georgia Meet.

I just realized that I don't know where "Atlanta Raceway" is located. Apparently Google doesn't know, either. Is this in Commerce or Hampton or Braselton? Directions?

    fnally got them!

I'll be the first to say that the MKIII is a big heavy car, and does not rotate as well as some of the smaller RWD cars. The balance is far from perfect, and there are many other more "disposable" platforms out there to work with. (if you're learning to drift, you're likely gonna beat up the...

The drive line angle will also be dependent on the amount of suspension drop as well.

    Hey you Ford folks!!!

If that yacht had flush fitment on all four corners, it'd almost look muscular.

How to Replace a MKIII Driveshaft Carrier Bearing for $50

Well, see, I did not know that. But - I'm not reading about crazy high occurrences of driveline failures due to missing washers, incorrect thickness of washers, etc. Wouldn't you just check that the angle isn't weirdly out of whack? Isn't that u-joint there for a reason?

How to Replace a MKIII Driveshaft Carrier Bearing for $50

Sheesh. $84? Really? Have you priced the part at Toyota? Anything less than $100 is a deal in my opinion. I definitely could have/would have used the extra $180 that I paid for mine on something else. I think this is such a great find that it belongs in the some sort of MKIII DIY tech sticky.

    NA-T MK3 Vs Evo KILL!!!!!!!

I still think that trying to run all these fuel mods on a stock ECU is not a great idea, but I wish you the best of luck in your goals. I guess its just not the same upgrade plan I would've chosen. If you have any amount of success, please document what you did and how you did it, and may your...

    Hey you Ford folks!!!

For the 5L, 2.3L, and 1UZ swaps: engine, harness, and ECU, junkyard T56 (or C4/6), fab up an in-tank fuel pump bracket, EDIS setup, aluminum fuel line and some -AN fittings. Fab up motor mounts and exhaust. -or- Keep the 351W, get an EFI intake and EDIS-8 setup and run Megasquirt. You'll...

    NA-T MK3 Vs Evo KILL!!!!!!!

That makes sense. I was under the impression that you were just going by pants-dyno figures. :) It's also nice to see higher TQ figures for a change. It would be interesting to see what happens to those numbers after some upgrades.

    NA-T MK3 Vs Evo KILL!!!!!!!

Well, like so many other threads on this wonderful forum, I seem to have (actually) read it quite some time ago and may be a bit fuzzy on the newer developments. I guess I didn't realize that it was ongoing. My apologies for incorrect information.

    NA-T MK3 Vs Evo KILL!!!!!!!

Our cars don't have OBD2-?, so I'd suppose it's largely due to a difference between new and old skool technology. I don't know of too many current platforms that don't allow for some sort of re-programming of the stock ECU. Look at all the new diesel power handheld programmers, as well as what...

Yup, wonderful looking wheels. I've always been a fan of the MKII Supra wheels too, and these are like their big brother. I think I'll start looking for a set now...

    Hey you Ford folks!!!

Get rid of all that BS. Most of it's probably not working as it should anyway. May need an EGR block off plate, but an aftermarket 4BBL 351W intake might fix that as well.

    really???

I didn't know you could fit 24's without a body lift.

    NA-T MK3 Vs Evo KILL!!!!!!!

When is this game-changing breakthrough supposed to occur? I'd think that in the 23 or so years that people have been building these cars that we'd have figured that out by now. I know there's a TCCS disassembly article somewhere, but IIRC that requires socketing the ECU and burning a new PROM...
