Funny you say that I have like 3 at the shop and I'm on my 3rd and guess what, It has no first gear. I'll post dyno numbers one day when I;m at a dyno event again and everyone begs me to dyno until then my dyno is on the street or at the track. chevy post logs man show the world how much a B.D or F&H Performance 7m love 38psi and revving past 8k. I cant wait until I get the 280's and shimless...

Iveytune.com Been in the business for a while and has tuned several for me with no problems. We've tuned High Hp 7m's and 2j's. B.D Performance in long island new york is also Great! Whenever Brian is in FL he tunes my car and just recently we tuned up the good ol 7m and had it running strong...

Do you have skinnies up front? I would start @ 18psi and work my way down only because the car will feel completley different with an et-street and it will feel like it wants to go into the other lane. Et-streets from my experience tell you where you're going.lol Edit: just read that you dont...

Mickey Thompson makes a 255/50/16. It's a great tire, I used it on my car and at 600hp level I cut 1.6 60 fts.

Having both sizes I would have to reccomend the 275-40-17's they hook much better.

With mt drag radials 275-40-17 on tt wheels I started at 18 and got all the way down to 11 and cut 1.61's with them and feel they are very capable of a 1.5. With rx-7 wheels and 255-50-16 drag radials (mt), I ran about 14psi. And cut a 1.68 but could've gotten a lil better.
