woot, so Im under my car putting my exhaust back on and randomly grasp underneath the car so I can get some leverage to get the creeper moving... and feel this large metal piece just loose in there, upon investigation I get the thing out of there, only to find that there is the exact same piece...

usually in the scams that require you to send it overseas, they will ask for you to put a value of like 20 dollars, so they dont have to pay taxes, I was reading about some person in the same situation as you (laptop scam) where the guy built a fake laptop out...
I did mine and I love it, no complaints... if its so notchy, its probably more of an issue with your transmission and not the short shifter. Mine is fine.
