dont eliminate the pcv lines on the 7mgte. clean the pcv lines fron the tb on the rear of the 3000 pipe...they are bolted to the 3000 pipe. i had the same problem when i put air filter breathers on the valve covers and elimiated the pcv system. dipstick would push up and blow oil everywhere...
my 88 developed this problem also. i replace the cold start in...put new ngk iridium plugs and ngk wires...then put my blitz tt in and it seemed to fix the problem. i used to get a blueish/purplish puff of smoke after it finally started after the long cranks too!

hey thanks guys for all the input. i guess at this point i may just find a upgraded ct26 this fall/winter and just upgrade and keep this one on the shelf for something down the road. it just seems to me that i can pick up one from one of you guys and bolt on and go with out the hassle of messing...
i see that i can buy just a stock replacement compressor wheel. is that possible to do since the turbo is a new rebuild?. and is that something that can be done at home with the turbo out of the car...
