I really only drive the MK3 because of how easy it is to tweak and it's inexpensive price tag. As soon as I have the money I will buy something like an Elise. To by "loyal" to any one of these Japanese car makes is absurd.
Because the only thing Toyota makes is a bunch of boring slush buckets. Nissan actually has something worth talking about... and to call it Skyline is incorrect, it's just "GTR".
Aside from the case, thats not what any NASCAR team that's trying will be running. Their guns are significantly more powerful and faster. They also use racing studs though, which are damn near indestructible.
Sorry, not on topic. Back on topic though, seems like horsepower on something that...
Ouch, you bought that and are admitting to having no idea about anything? Unfortunately I see a lot of very expensive pain in your future.
Oh, and unless AMF is a new acronym I'm not aware of, it's AFM you want. :)
It feels to be concentrated right in the middle, where, without the targa you've lost all its support. The front and rear sections seem to "wiggle" right in the middle from each other.
No, but thats where you need to get the weight off - the front. You can get a CF hood off ebay from any number of sellers that fit just fine.
BTW - I like the idea of a CF (as long as it's race car stuff) dash as well.
Readings from the stock guage? My oil pressure at high RPM even at more then 105C oil temp is higher than that with GC.
Sounds like the GC is just thicker than whatever "run of the mill" is. Don't really understand the nay-sayers comment, or what oil pressure has to do with it but maybe that...
Used to do it much more in NJ where the roads were worth driving on. Not as much now, but that has no relation at all to the cost of fuel going up. It actually ticks me off a bit when people moan about the price of fuel all the time, especially in the US.
