im not sure on that point,but a K&N is a bad choice because the oil you put on the filter will find its way onto the afm mirror/led giving the computer bad readings/bad gas mileage.

i have a red top in mine,and it will lose charge if i dont run my car for about a week. dont know why. i've heard of other members having the same prob. maybe yellow top with a deeper charge?
