Depends on if you want speed or acceleration. That's what it boils down to. Speed? 3.73's or something custom if you want even more available speed. IIRC the MKIV's final ratio is what? in the 3.50's? Acceleration, 4.30's Best of both worlds, 3.91's like me.

He didn't originally say that he doesn't use the TEMS, therefore it wasn't dead weight. Be advised, once you remove the TEMS, if they were functioning (mine still do) then you will noticed a decrease in handling response from the car.

I don't see the TEMS, when functioning, as DEAD WEIGHT. The dust covers are though, just make sure you keep the actuators clean. That's like, what? 1/2 pound altogether??

Most remove it for a better supsension upgrade. You should think of going on a diet to save weight, not trying to be mean or anything, but the supra will NEVER be a light car. The bulk of the weight in the car is the actual frame.

An air pocket stuck by the coolant temp sensor can make the needle rise, but coolant overflowing out of the resivior is never a good sign...
