my car is doing this too, so i bought a new ecu. haven't tried it yet to see if that fixed it but i will in a few days.
it all started after this shop that replaced my clutch didn't reconnect my tranny ground... should've just done it myself :rolleyes:
he obviously doesn't have the funds to restore his current supra being in the condition it's in. dropping the drivetrain in a new shell will only cost $500-1000.
it costs a lot to restore a supra, i would have saved so much money if i had just bought a nicer car to begin with.
that car needs a whole lot more work than just a fender. i bet it would take less time to swap the engine than to fix all the body damage on that car. :)
