I am not a huge fan of the Jesus pics, but free speech is free speech. I thought they were tasteless and didn't find them very funny.

Rebuilt/Remanned from Napa.
I tore apart the steering colum intermediate shaft last night and I could not feel any play in it at all.
I think its probably the steering rack, but I can't imagine getting a rebuilt one that has the exact same symptons/noise as the old one, but if the preload...

Problem: Excessive play in steering wheel.
With engine on or off, when Supra is stopped, I can shake the steering wheel...
Dunno. Prolly replace these when I do the front brakes in a month or so.
What has me concerned is the lound clank I get, parked, while yanking the steering wheel back and forth.
Changed the lower ball joint today. Very easy to change.:icon_bigg
However, I am still getting a small shimmy over bumpy or uneven surface.
The original shaking, has been reduced by 98%, but there is some noticable still there. Also, it feels like it floats a little.

Good on gas being 20 and mid to high 20's on the freeway. I can't stand the sedans from Chevy, Ford, Toyota, Nissan.
I know MBZ's are very good, but, I want something that I can park outside, otherwise, I will have to park the Supra outside.:nono:
