Hello,
I'm about to start a new side project, I will be making my own FFIM.
The project will hopefully be my bachelor thesis and I will be doing it from a thermodynamic/fluid dynamics point of view and then finally ad in ICE to see how the valve pulses affect things.
I will use the stock...
Why did you decide on a turbo setup like that? :S
Stock setup has one bend in the pressure pipes near heat and you have added two more plus more exhaust pipes in the engine bay.
Each bend in a pipe results in turbulence = lower speed of air = it's easier for the air to pick up heat.
On a...
I went with a 3mm MHG.
The easiest equation is stock block + stock head + stock gasket - new block - new head = new HG
This should give a comp ratio slightly higher than stock and since I'm using 9:1 pistons so I should be around that.
I think it's great that these two cars gets released :)
Most of us here with an older performance car tend to look at something similar in todays cars, but that means a high price tag, for example an Nissan GTR.
Here we have two cars with good price tags from the start WITH good performance...
That's a shim and it's easy to replace since you already have it out.
Since to lobes on the cam will go against it there is a possibility that the cam gets damaged.
What does the cam lobe look like?
Needboost: it's a arithmetic mean value of the surface roughness.
Now I need a little help to decide on a MHG.
As far as I know there is no MHG size between 2.0mm and 3.0mm, is this correct?
My block is now: 197.4 or 197.6mm (I don't have the exact number in my head, but somewhere in...
According through PM, 3.0 GT told that the coils fits under the pipe, but it's very close.
I have not seen any pics yet, but I took a chance and bought a set of coils plus 2 :)
Hey Albert, where's the PM with the price for the coil plates? :)
