Ive never been a fan of excluding other cars. We usually make ours 'toyota/toy powered' meets. I don't care who shows up as long as they're respectful and not ricey. A car show would be fun maybe, but I think they're retarded. Mine is built to be taken out and beat on, not show n shine...

Either are amazing engines. As stated, figure out your power/boosting goals, budget, plan of attack, mods, etc. and start from there. There is lots of good 1jz stuff out there but you've gotta do your homework on it. 2j stuff is available anywhere and its pretty easy to tell the good stuff...
