The base of the windsheild is a high pressure zone. You're effectively hurting your cooling at speed doing it (plus it looks stupid)

The spacers make the bushing redundant. I'd imagine it would stress the chassis more as well (plus you'll hear everything)

The later 91/92 coolers are better as well. You definately want a cooler though if you want consistant steering performance (and of course far less wear).

Those are spacers and will rigidly mount the rear subframe to the chassis. Not something I'd do for anything other than a racecar...

The crack in the head is pretty interesting as it looks like it might be from the valve seat. The damage around the headbolt holes in the head is odd as well... Broken ringland looks scary, did it damage the cylinder wall? Kinda sad to see since I know you did an amazing job on that entire car.

Look at where it is, it's not on the reinforced lip where you would get curb rash...
