Was this motor/trans just recntly installed? If so, you may have an additional spacer on the flywheel, TOB (or something) could be hitting the bolts if this is the case. I did it once, and it kinda sounds like that. Just another thought.

trans sound.... I have no idea... Front end noise could be quite a few things: Loose wheel, warped rotor, loose caliper/rotor, or any number of other loose things. More detailed sounds owuld help.. is it a low sounding "ping" like a hammer or something hitting the bottom of the car or is it...
