duane.. about that little car you guys are building down there....
it's okay i guess... I still think my NA could take it though. :naughty:
second thought, maybe not... anywho.... your car is fuckin' sick!
I think I might just be moving down to the coast in a couple months.. the work...
285's could fit if you rolled the fenders.. they should clear with a 2" drop... actually what i'm planning on doing... 285's in the back 255's on the front on 5zeigen 17x9's and 17x10's
edit: ahh.. you meant on the stock 16x7 rims.. ic.
haha that's nothing.. my supra was covered with a good foot and a half of snow sitting on it... looked like I had lowered the car almost an inch... so sad.. I got all the snow off of it tho and I made room in the garage for it... fired her up after sitting for nearly a month and it fired up...
can't complain about this guys...
For $50 I would do it to get thos results... if it turns out like shit so what, get the car professionaly painted.. you are only out $50... if it turns out great, it cost you $50 for a great paint job and you'll feel great about it because you know you...
rear hatch antenna is for AM... I got an adapter to go from that small plug for the am antenna to go to the standard fm size plug... no more stupid looking/broken antenna coming out the back for me! once it comes time to spray the car my antenna and rear wiper are getting shaved smooth!
I was looking for a cheap way to paint my winter beater (86 accord hatch w/ only 175k kilometers).. and I will actually be trying this method in the spring... I will be doing it this way..
1. Prep the car.. the body is straight, not a lot needed
2. fix any rust or replace fenders that are...
should have done what I did... bought a little honda beater... I got an 86 Accord hatch to driver around town in the snow and when i'm working on the supra (keep the supra as my night & weekend cruiser)... got the accord for $1000 canadian.. has only 175,000km (around 8,750km a year!) and runs...
hows this... 88 non turbo 5spd grey on grey hard top, non leather, non tems, no super monitor, non abs... BUT has headlamp washers and an lsd!
how rare is that?
Johnathan.. where did you get those tails.. they look mint! And did you tint them your self?
I would really like to see a write up on how to swap the pre-89 trim centre piece to work with the 89+ tails... it looks WAY better than how it does with mis-matched trim
