Exactly, the lexus afm allows more airflow compared to the stock afm while providing the ecu with the same reading... basically you get about a 20% increase in airflow while the ecu still *thinks* that there is the same amount you had coming in with the stock afm... So if you had the 440's...

ya the 2jz really isn't much different than a 1jz i guess... they are both inline sixes and have two turbos a piece... pff so what if the 2jz is a couple years newer, has larger turbos, and has an extra .5L to play with... same dif! :3d_frown:

in wrc don't they they backfire for a reason? to keep the boost up or something? I don't recall exactly what it was tho....

i just posted it as a reference to what it might look like, frankly i wouldn't paint my fogs or even think about doing it, if I wanted yellow fogs I would get some jdm ones.

no no boost lee hyper silver is fine, bright shiny silver is fine... but not chrome...

I already did that with them, and they look so much better than before, but I think tinted with actual clear coat over them will look much better... especially after I tint my windows and my side markers...

JDM fogs? yay or nay... I think i'll leave the center piece body coloured.. so I think i will tint them... and if I don't like, I'll it throw my 89+ tails on and call her a day with the slightly mismatched trim piece.

I don't think chrome belongs anywhere on a supra... aside from polished metal in the engine bay or on the lip of a rim....

Should I tint my front signals, side markers, and tails? I threw a quick photochop together to see how it would look and I think it looks really good with my grey paint.. I have yet to see a grey metallic supra with tinted tails... Keep in mind i'm switching to the 89+ set of tails and 3-piece...

give a few local shops some calls tomorrow and get some quotes...
