Updates, if anyone cares lol.... 12/2/2008: Worked on the car again, since we got the truck painted and the supra is back in its garage now :) Got splash shields for the fender aka fenderwell now all the wiring is hid, just glad i got that on there it looks bad without it lol. Also worked on...

well, i did clearly state that there is a wayyyy easier option to do the swap, i just did it this way since i saved a crapload of money by just buying the faces, and WHAT IF someone on the forums buys gauge faces from online and they want help swapping out the faces themself, that was just a DIY...

New updates: replaced all the bulbs on the front end of the car, new front corner lights, found 89+ fender mouldings still lookin for the other pieces to complete moulding conversion, they seem more flush and better looking than my old ones, 89+ gauge conversion finished, new front mudguard...

from the pics i think the car could use some good buffing and waxing :) by the way there should be a hatch open lever somewhere close to the driver side seat on the floor

^ meaning when you pull the release lever it doesnt do anything or does it unlatch the hatch but you cant pull it up?

im not sure but IIRC on my 7mge it goes onto a vacuum chamber (charcoal canister-like) that is mounted onto the block underneath the intake plenum where the injectors connect to, hopefully im correct but dont quote me on that...

spotted a red 91 turbo close to my place, and a maroon pre-89, talked to the guy with the red mk3, his car is awesome

well factory torque specs = possible chance for a BHG, supramania torque specs = long lasting engine, i torqued my head bolts to 72 ft. lbs. after my head gasket replacement, still runs perfect till now :)
