just got my supra the other day. i'll post pics soon. on the drive home the clutch gave out on me. i wasnt too surprised about that. car has a f**ked up paint job that im gonna try to fix next week along with getting a new clutch in there that i ordered yesterday along with a pressure plate and...

the car i just got did it when i started it up then immediately went away. i remember my buddies would do the same thing but his engine was freshly rebuilt so i know it wasnt a bhg...

ok... so im gonna get a clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearing from toyota for ~$230. toyota would charge $980 bucks to do it and an independent shop i called will do it for $400... toyota is :bsflag: :icon_bigg

yeah im gonna get the whole clutch kit as soon as i can which is most likely when i have a day off from work. i'll look up any small shops around the area also. thanks guys.

i know all too well about them breaking. its my project so i dont need it right away i have a dd. i was just searching up clutches and pressure plates because i know better than to even try to skimp on the car. only problem with trying to do it myself is that there is no shop i can work in where...

over head cam engines dont have rods.......... but otherwise i like the build. EDIT: sorry wasnt thinkin straight when i seen rods im guessing you mean piston rod? i thought push rod lol.

a 90 turbo. gonna be fun. corollas arent really fun to drive around though... almost every honda revs at you it gets annoying lol.
