Or like mine, nice and cheap a couple of cans of stripper, a couple of cans of Rustoleum Hammered Black paint. No chips so far after 3k miles of driving. The expensive part is demounting the tires, then remounting and balancing them. Rick

    Rice Or Not?

Okay I may be a very old schooler but we called anything made in Asia Rice Rockets. We always respected them since most of the time if some kid had a moded out Rice Rocket he could easily bolw the doors off our Souped Up So Called Muscle Cars. I had Muscle cars my whole life and now I am the...

    open trailer to buy

I bought a 5x10 box trailer for my dirt bikes from Ronco Trailers in Vista, CA for $1100 new, I believe they have distributors all over the USA. My family has made trailers in a family business since I was a kid. I couldnt make one that cheap with that quality of metal. You should also be able...

    Lamarossa Flush Lights patterns

I love it, been thinking about doing it myself. I noticed during rain that with the headlights up the air flow over the front of the car is squirrelly and doesn’t run straight up the hood to the windshield, with them closed the rain comes straight up the hood to the windshield and over the...

    Gorillia Locking Lugnuts

You can try heating the socket up with a torch just enough to have the socket swell and hopefully the nut will fall out. If that doesnt work use a cold chisle and place the chisle in one of the teeth of the locknut and slowly tap it with a brass hammer in a counterclockwise direction to loosen...

    MKIV NA rims

Sawblades also weighed different in different years. I recently bought two off an 87 and they were heavier than my 89's, on my 89's I could see where they had some extra material removed during manufacturing. Rick

How wide should I go for rims?

When your driving down the freeway minding your business and some kook flys by you spinning 360's cause he didn't worry about rain when he bought his cheap arse tires and you need to hit the skids to help keep him alive, suddenly it will come to YOU why you should have tires that not only handle...

    Read!

A Scion may have killed you in a race, BUT, I have seen pictures of those things broadsided at an intersection and the car that hit it was INSIDE it, the flimsy things are deadly in a wreck. Rick

How wide should I go for rims?

One thing to remember when choosing rims and tires is, if your going to do nothing but drag race go wide. If your going to drive it normally 98% of the time and it rains where you live, the wider the tire the lower the speed at which your tire begins to hydroplane. Just some food for thought. I...

Installation of the Lower Front control arm Poly Bushings

I have installed many a set of poly bushings, some I made myself before they were ever commercially available. I always use a torch with minimal heat, just enough to soften the rubber bushing. My experience is when they get warm enough they actually POP out, so be careful. The first time I did...

    TRD TEMS SHOX = KYB's

I believe that for the last 40 years if it comes from Nippon it's probably going to have KYB's. Even Dirt bikes of all brands have come with Kayaba's or KYB. I'm a big believer of KYB Gas Shock since Ive had them on every car ive owned since the mid seventies. One set on my old 68 dodge van were...

opinions on tires for MKIV TT rims

Before you buy take everyones suggestions and go to Tirerack.com and read the reviews of the many people who have the tires they suggest, and see what they have to say long term. I did this and ended up buying Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. As far as tires go I feel these are the best I've ever head...

why do people do big brake up grades to there car's

I too think the stock brakes are pretty darn good even after repeated stops from high speeds. I guess a few folks who have had brake fade may have had cheap pads and not the stock Toyota pads. I to think with all the talk about the Most HP and knowing larger brake rotors robs you of some of that...

    Insurance Quote

My Mercury rep never asked me if my Supra was modified in any way nor I did I have any places in my policy that required me to list any.
