If you are confident that its a headgasket then you need a full head gasket set and If you cheap out then it will blow again. Depending on how it bad it was you may need to resurface the head and block.

If you know your cooling system holds pressure than you can just get a cooling system pressure tester and see if it will hold 15psi for 25+ min. Also You can start your car with the pressure tester hooked up and if you start building pressure instantly, then you have a blown head gasket.
I did one swap where I extended it and one where I came throught the fire wall. As far as which one worked better it was about the same but through the firewall was easiest.
Don't forget to use shielded wire on O2 and knock sensors, thats where most people creat problems.
Just in case you can't find a place to do it I have all the values of the capacitors that need to be replaced, any electronics store should have them.
