those are actually DUAL illuminite speakers, they have decent sound but im only lookin for mids on the front due to the fact that the pre-91 speaker boxes have almost no space at all to have bass, but im hookin up a single 12" sub when the car is done so i have bass :)

^ I may still have the control switch off my 88, works just fine u just gotta solder the wires together and install the bearing/spring that is used when you turn the high beams on, it installs with 2 screws and a clip and itts a PITA to get back on, other than that it works fine, unless ur 89+...

the headlight wand control is separatable and can be replaced either with dealer or a parts car, its just hard to install the control separate because of teh ball bearing thing for the high beam switch so it would be easier to replace the whole combination switch

^ actually i was the one that organized that (my fault) but yeah i edited it now, forgot that the 89's had the side panel speakers too! but im wondering as ms07s said, if they t-off to the other rear speakers, then why the hell did they even put those speakers on there

thanks, well i finally got 1/3 of my 3 piece tails lol, but yeah got some plastic lens restore and it shined up almost like new!!
