of course the door panels are interchangeable its just the fact that the 6.5" speaker pods would look weird on a 4" speaker door panel, other than that its a direct fit, if you are okay with a mismatched door panel then i guess its fine, the speaker pods wont make a difference with the panels...

i believe acrylic melting point is around 250-270*F from wat i read online if the engine doesnt heat up more than 250 it should be good, id give it a try first tho

there might be a chance that it melts, unless theres some special heat resistant ones like the clear plastic timing covers that i saw on a few supras here
